Patrick Nielsen – Drafted to Atlanta United (MLS)

Congratulations to Patrick Nielsen (Denmark) who was picked in the first round of the MLS Draft by Atlanta United.

Patrick worked with College Scholarships USA to start his journey in the USA, initially playing college soccer for the University of Cincinnati before transferring to Michigan State – both NCAA Division 1 teams.

Being drafted by Atlanta United is especially exciting, they are MLS Cup winner and boast an average attendance of  51,547, which is the top 10 in the world!

Patrick has achieved what many set out to do by competing in college sports – he graduated with a degree plus keeping the door open to play at the next level. Through hard work and dedication, he has taken that next step.
