1 DONATION – 1 EDUCATION

We have a set goal to collect 30,000 NOK, around, XXX GBP, for Right to Play by the end of December 2019.

We have already reached 24,000 NOK!

Join us in helping as many children in vulnerable areas as possible through our fundraising campaign on Facebook HERE.

Right to Play estimates that it costs around 250 NOK to finance a full year of education for children in Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, and the Middle East!

-We can such a donation a “Scholarship”. We do not ask for much; simply skip one lunch and rather donate that money to Right to Play; and help change the world for the better.

Right to Play was started in 2000 by Norwegian Olympic Champion, Johan Olav Koss. It is a global organization that uses “play” to educate and empower children and young people so that they can withstand the negative impact of poverty, disease, conflict, and war.

More than 300 professional athletes from over 40 different countries are part of Right to Play as “Sports Ambassadors”. They are ambassadors precisely because they have seen and experienced the positive effect sports and play have on children and young people. There are world-famous athletes such as Mark Cavendish, Petra Kvitova, Martina Hingis, Nic Hulkenberg, and some Scandinavian sports legends such as Mats Zuccarello, Aksel Lund Svindal, Suzann Pettersen, and many more who represent Right to Play.

Since 2008, we have helped over 2,300+ athletic students to college in the United States, to practice sports in combination with studies.

For our students, this opportunity is created through hard work, but not everyone is so lucky. Without resources and educational infrastructures. “hard work” will only take you so far.

For a relatively small donation, you can make the biggest difference for the children Right to Play works with. 91% of the money goes directly to the children.

Through our ‘1 donation – 1 education’ fundraising campaign, we give all our athletic students, theirs and our network, an opportunity to become “Ambassadors” by giving a one-time scholarship that goes towards a child’s education play (Education through play is the model Right to Play uses in its schools).

Just imagine for a second you are a recipient of such a “Scholarship”. To put you in the right context, remember, that you just received a full year of education funded, and you know that education is one of the most important elements in helping you and your family out of poverty. So ask yourself, “where would I be without an education?”.

Your donation of a “Scholarship” really makes a big difference for children who need it most. Just read what NHL star, Mats Zuccarello had to say after visiting a “Right to Play School” in Tanzania:

“Taking part in the joy the kids showed when they played was greater than scoring at Madison Square Garden. They had nothing, I have everything, but here we are all the same”.

A “Scholarship” is life changing for these children.

We hope you choose to take part in our goal of helping as many children as possible get an education!

Again, you can donate HERE.
