With more than a decade in this industry Kim has developed a great reputation in Norway as the “go-to guy” for Norwegian athletes wanting to study in the US and has an extensive college coach network in the US. He leads a team of talented Sports Consultants in Norway who are helping roughly 130 Norwegian student-athletes to the US each year.
Kim played NCAA D1 and D2 soccer for the University of South Carolina Upstate between 2004-2007. He was the starting center midfielder for a side that was ranked as high as #5 in the nation. He graduated from USC Upstate in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Journalism (Magna Cum Laude).
Before going to the US, Kim played for Røa IL, a club in the Norwegian 3rd division. Kim attended Lambertseter VGS and got his diploma in sports studies in June 2004. He is also a certified coach by the Norwegian FA.
Kim has featured in several of Norway’s biggest media outlets regarding the combination of high level sports and education in the United States.
