SHOWCASE POSTPONED

(3rd Dec 2021)

Unfortunately, due to the rapidly evolving situation and current uncertainty regarding the new rapidly spreading COVID-19 variant Omicron in Europe and restrictions being implemented across the different countries of our Showcase participants, we have concluded that we cannot hold an event that will live up to the quality we and any Showcase participant would expect, nor to the safety standards that would be required.

As a result, we have decided that our Scandinavian Showcase in Gothenburg, Sweden from 17-19th Dec will be postponed.

Our goal is to hold the Showcase in winter/spring 2022.

We are thrilled to bring back the Scandinavian Showcase in December 2021.

Like in 2019, this is a 3-day-event, with the whole event based at the fantastic indoor-venue Serneke Arena in Gothenburg (Sweden). We expect to have ca. 160 players in attendance, and use a tournament format.

Our Showcase is a great way for you to evaluate players from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and the UK in 11v11 matches and meet in person the players (and parents) you are interested in recruiting.

The level of players will range from the best Professional Academies, Premier League Reserve Team players, highest and second highest U19 national levels, and the 3rd – 6th tier of men’s soccer in Scandinavia.

NOTE: Only fully COVID-19 vaccinated US-based people can enter Sweden per current travel regulations from the Swedish government. You will need to bring government-issued vaccination records to enter Sweden.

The FULL Showcase Package

What does it include?

Price per coach SINGLE room: $475 (+ 4% PayPal payment fee)

Price per coach DOUBLE room: $375 (+ 4% PayPal payment fee)

The prices above are based on staying at the “Showcase Hotel”. Please note, we have reserved a limited # of rooms at the Showcase Hotel because of availability. First come, first served principle applies. Prices at other hotels might be more expensive.

Fill in the Registration Form via THIS LINK.

After registering our Showcase Director Kim Moe Krohn will be in touch via email and you will receive an invoice to pay the fee with credit/debit card. Your attendance at the Showcase is confirmed when the fee has been paid.

Why this fee to attend? The cost to put on such an event is high in Scandinavia. We are renting the best indoor facilities in Scandinavia, have 19 CSUSA staff members part of arranging it, professionally filmed, good refs, transportation, negotiated deal with the Showcase-hotel, meals, and marketing to get players there. The biggest portion of the fee goes towards the direct costs. The rest helps fund the marketing needed to get the number of suitable players, our time for organizing and making the event happen.

About CSUSA

CSUSA was founded in 2007 by Stewart Stanbra (England) and Kim Moe Krohn (Norway) – who both played soccer in NCAA D1 and NCAA D2 for the University of South Carolina Upstate. CSUSA provides talented students and athletes the opportunity to study at an American university and compete in college sports.

Since 2007, at Team CSUSA we have assisted 2500+ student-athletes, in a variety of sports from all over the world, to pursue their ambition of competing in elite sports in combination with higher education.

We know the levels on both sides of the Atlantic and try to find options for our athletes where the sports and academics fit with the level and ambition of the athlete and what the coach needs. We also listen to our clients’ preferences when searching for suitable options for each of them. We are highly experienced in this industry and we are genuine experts in the rules and regulations of college sports, sporting and academic assessment, admission/eligibility processes and more. We assist every athlete with the paperwork of becoming a student-athlete in the US, making the process for both athlete and coach smoother.

In 2021 we helped 343 international student-athletes to college in the US (see where they attend school HERE). Around 75% of all the athletes we assist every year are soccer players. Team CSUSA consists of 21 full-time employees (9 in Norway, 4 in Sweden, 3 in Denmark and 5 in the UK) and 15 of us played college soccer in the US. This is what we know best!

We are owned by Keystone Education Group and have just launched Keystone Sports with AGM and Sport-Scholarships.
