Thank you Emil!

Emil Kumlin steps down as Country Manager of Sweden, starting in a new role at Michael Page - one of the world's leading professional recruitment consultancies.

This week is Emil Kumlin’s last week at CSUSA. We are sad to be losing an industry legend in college sports recruiting, but proud and happy to have had Emil with us on this journey.

Emil has been at the forefront of international student-athlete recruitment in Sweden for a decade and has sent hundreds of student-athletes to the states to live the experience we champion.

As a student-athlete himself Emil was a soccer player at Florida Southern College and graduated with a degree in Criminology – after a spell at Swedish recruiting firm Blue Chip, he joined us at CSUSA in March 2014 to develop the Swedish market and has continued to advance things, leaving a lasting legacy and tradition of Swedish students who want to study and compete in the USA.

We wish Emil all the best in his new career and a different type of recruitment at Michael Page. We have no doubt he will be a huge success and he will be missed at CSUSA, although we will stay in contact regarding the Swedish market and college recruiting.

Here is what Emil had to say:

“10 years in the industry, 5 years with CSUSA. 5 years ago we started building team Sweden for CSUSA, it has grown from basically nothing to being the biggest company in Sweden, this is something I am very proud to have been part of. Behind those numbers are the core and what really matters, all the student-athletes that we have helped, proud of everyone of them.

For me, time has now come for a new challenge, something I need in order to move forward as a business person and to broaden my perspective.  I leave Team Sweden in very good hands and look forward to follow the progress from here. It´s been a joy working for CSUSA, a company that always seeks to do the right thing and always seeks to develop further.”

Best of luck from Kim, Stew and the rest the team.
