Robert Morris University, Pennsylvania

Gustaf Moberg works as a Sports Consultant out of our Södertälje/Stockholm office. He is part of Team Sweden and will work primarily with our men’s soccer players. Gustaf joins our team after five successful years as an NCAA D1 student-athlete at Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania.

Gustaf Moberg is originally from Mariefred, Sweden, but has spent a big part of his life growing up in Taiwan. During his high school years, he spent three years in Åtvidaberg and played for their U19 team. At the time ÅFF was part of the top division in Sweden. He made numerous appearances with the U21 team as well as two exhibition games with the men’s team. After high school, he moved to Karlstad and spent one year being part of division 1 team Carlstad United. During his time here he also spent some time on loan to at division 3 team, Säffle FF.

Gustaf spent his whole college career at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At RMU he began competing in the Northeast Conference for the first three years, and later in the Horizon League for his last two years. Gustaf played an important role as a first-year full-time starter outside back for the team and helped them reach the conference tournament. The same year he earned a role in the conference tournament team. As a junior, he was named captain of the team and later helped them reach yet another conference tournament.

At RMU, Gustaf completed his bachelor’s degree in Management as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration with a certificate in Business Analytics. At the University Gustaf made the deans’ list several years. He also received awards for excellent performance in courses associated with his bachelor’s degree.

After finishing up in the USA, Gustaf moved back home to his hometown Mariefred in Sweden. He has gained work experience as a controller for the financial department of Scania CV AB in 2021, before joining CSUSA in 2022.

“Taking the step over to the United States has really changed my life for the better. I have gained experiences that have shaped me into a better human being. I have had the chance to travel once being there and this would not be possible if I had stayed in Sweden. Thanks to CSUSA I have managed to combine academics with the sport that I love in such a crucial part of my life. I have made friends that I can truly call my brothers and sisters. These people will be a part of my life for a very long time going forward. Also, being part of the RMU family has been such an amazing experience. I truly feel like I was part of something big with everyone wanting to succeed and improve every day. I honestly wish that I was 19 again and could do this whole journey once again.”
