The staff at College Scholarships USA was very attentive and helpful with the process which is much more in depth than my regular recruiting situations.

What is a Scholarship?
It is an amount of money granted by the University and the athletic department that helps fund a student's education and living expenses.

How much can I get?
A scholarship can range from full to partial. A full will cover all you university and living expenses, leaving you just to pay for your own entertainment. These are limited to the TOP athletes, which you can obtain, but it is not easy. Partial scholarships can cover you for your educational costs. They are usually dealt with on a percentage. So our job is to get an offer that is good for you. The more talent you have the higher your scholarship will be. Another important factor is your academic standing as you can get a scholarship for that as well.

Is it ‘College Scholarships USA’ that grant the Scholarship?
No, we are here to help you gain a scholarship, the school and the athletic department grant the scholarship to you, based on what they think you deserve, how badly they want you, and their finances. We find you the best deal possible.

Can I get a scholarship?
Colleges look for the best athlete for the job. High level performance and conditioning is required. This kind of commitment is not for the faint hearted. You need to be talented and extremely hard working. From the FREE ASSESSMENT and your references (and potentially video footage) we can judge your potential.

What is the level that you can play sport at?
NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA are the governing bodies of college sports: Don’t be too concerned about the level. The Division represents the size, number of sports and wealth of a college, rather than the athletic abilities of the college. Certain divisions have different rules on eligibility, academics and age restrictions. We will determine your eligibility for the necessary division.

Our Fees?
We do NOT take money from your scholarship that is yours. We ask for a one-time upfront charge for our administration fees and our services, to place you at a university, and from that moment you are on the ‘College Scholarships USA’ Program.

What is the SAT test?
The SAT test is a standardised test that all incoming student athletes must take and pass to be admitted to a US school. It is a test of your basic math and literacy skills. Find more information here.

What is the NCAA Eligibility Center?
This is the department that determines your eligibility and whether you can play Division I, Division II or Junior College. They assess all your documents and decide your level.

How do I get my visa?
By making an appointment with the US embassy in your country, and arranging a meeting to process your visa.
